来源:希望之声 （记者李文涵综合报导）1934年5月28日，在安大略省北部的Callander小镇的一个简陋农舍里，世界上第一个五胞胎Dionne姐妹诞生了！当时接生的只有一个医生和两个护士，本来以为只是双胞胎，没想到一下生出了5个。这消息一传十、十传百，大街小巷都因为她们沸腾了。

在经济萧条的年代，人类怀上五胞胎的机率，只有5500万分之一，更幸运的是：这五名早产两个月的孩子们竟然幸存下来， 体重平均仅为600克，每个婴儿都很小，可以一只手握住。瘦小的她们被称为：奇迹婴儿。

政府要求这五胞胎姐妹的抚养权不能归她们的父母了，而且连探视都不行。五胞胎当即就被迫离开了父母，从此把狄翁夫妇的监护权没收。五姐妹人生聚变，由当初接产的医生Allan和护士们照顾着。当然了，医院也经常给她们做各种测试，毕竟大家都对五胞胎很好奇。后来还安排她们拍广告、拍电影，上电视等等，Allen医生靠这些没少赚钱。

有一些人特意来，就是为亲眼看看这些五胞胎女孩。政府看这情形，就琢磨着也想捞点甜头。于是他们在女孩家对面新建了一栋房子，把这里打造成了一个旅游景点。五胞胎搬进去之后，每天都有成千上万的游客排着长队过来，就像参观什么稀奇的新物种一样。安大略省政府成为女孩们的监护人，盖了个育婴房，起名：五胞园。

女孩们的生活也是完全被操控的，每隔30分钟，就会有2-3个小女孩被带到外面，好让游客观赏。她们变成了赚钱的机器，而且被控制的相当有规律。每天早上按时起床、洗澡、卷头发，一起吃同样的早餐。然后，一起去接受检查，纪录下各种数据。就像研究新样本一样，她们没有任何自由。

他们的父母. 在加拿大政府把这些女孩带走之后, 他们一直在努力争取监护权， 终于在1943年五胞胎九岁时总算赢回监护权，五姐妹人生出现了一丝曙光。

女孩们也终于回到了父母身边。只是令人鼻酸的是：五胞胎和父母，因为太多年没见，彼此就象陌生人一样。孩子们早已养成了被人照顾的习惯，而她们的父母却看不惯她们这样。平时总叫她们干这干那的，甚至还动不动就开打。总之回家后，五个女孩的生活用一个字就能形容：惨！她们也不知道该如何与父母相处，等长大以后才懂得：什么是失去亲情的遗憾。

直到18岁，姐妹们终于自由了。从那天起，她们才真正远离了聚光灯，远离了媒体，远离了控制她们的所有，各自开始了新生活。有人开起了花店，有人结婚生子，过起了平凡的生活。

后来的日子里，五姐妹中，有两个姑娘都在年华正好的时候离开了。五胞胎里的老四，成为修女。却在1954年，因为癫痫病发去世。1970年36岁的老五，也因为中风去世。2001年老大更因为癌症去世，剩下的姐妹都以离婚收场。从此世人对五胞胎不再关注。

加拿大政府也承认当年疏失。1998年．经过长时间的协商，给予五胞胎400万加币的赔偿。还活着的姐妹，终于得到政府的和解金。但童年时光无法倒带，年华老去的姐妹回忆起人生际遇，只剩下无限感伤……

现在五姐妹中只剩下了Cécile和Annette，她们俩83岁，也算是相依为命了。
当年五胞胎的家后来也被改造成了“五胞胎博物馆”，偶尔会有些游客过去参观。Annette还说，她真的希望这个博物馆能给所有人以警示，那是她们心中抹不掉的悲惨记忆。因为被关注，几乎从来没有过自由，这本不是几个孩子应该经历的。更何况，关注不等于捆绑，真的该手下留情了。最后一句：“世界第一”有时也是一种麻烦的代名词。
当年五胞胎的家后来也被改造成了“五胞胎博物馆”，偶尔会有些游客过去参观。
还有一件事儿：三姐妹曾经特意给一个生了七胞胎的妈妈写过一封信，告诉他们一定不要让这件事儿太张扬，要让孩子们远离聚光灯. “我们的生活因我们在安大略省政府手中而被毁掉… 我们真诚希望从我们的童年经历中吸取教训.。如果这封信能使这些新生儿自然成长, 那么也许生活将达到更好的目的。不然很可能毁了这些孩子，因为我们用自己的一生经历了那种被赋予“世界第一”的痛苦。
