（希望之声记者杨晓曼综合报导）芬兰作为世界上最爱读书的国家之一，当然也不会忽视了对图书馆的建设，赫尔辛基颂歌中央图书馆就是一个非常好的例子。
赫尔辛基颂歌中央图书馆（芬兰语：Helsingin keskustakirjasto Oodi），位于芬兰首都赫尔辛基市中心，芬兰议会大厦对面。

在此选址也象征了政府与民众之间的关系， 并诠释了芬兰《图书馆法》中规定的，图书馆应创造平等获取文化的条件，促进终身学习、公民积极参与意识、民主与言论自由这一宗旨。

赫尔辛基市议会在2015年1月批准了该项设计方案，同年下半年开始了建设，是由芬兰ALA建筑设计所设计的。图书馆于2018年12月5日独立日的前一天正式开放 。

为了迎接新馆的开放，赫尔辛基市立图书馆于2016年10月征集馆名，从2600个建议中征集到1,600个不同的名字，最终选出了OODI，中文译为“颂歌”（芬兰语：Oodi，瑞典语：Ode）。
赫尔辛基颂歌中央图书馆是一栋结合木材与玻璃材质的流体结构的建筑， 馆内许多地方都采用自然采光，而且站在图书馆内的环绕式窗户和阳台前可以欣赏到整个城市的美景。

大门一旁是一个钢质旋转式金属楼梯，若是仔细看，会发现楼梯侧面印着400个芬兰词。这是视觉艺术家奥托·卡勒沃宁创作的艺术作品，图书馆刚开始建造的时候，曾经向市民们征集想法：这座图书馆为谁而建？艺术家评委们从民众的答案里挑选出了这些词汇。相信这也是芬兰人对「平等」和「人权」更深一层的理解。

但书籍只占了图书馆内三分之一的空间 ，除了借阅书籍之外，这里还提供许多新的服务，其中包括咖啡馆、餐厅、公共阳台、电影院、视听录音室等空间。

据lonelyplanet报道， 赫尔辛基市分管文化与休闲活动的副市长纳希玛·拉兹穆娅（Nasima Razmyar）表示：「Oodi对图书馆提出了一个新的现代概念，这是个文学之家、科技之家、音乐之家、电影之家，同时也是欧盟之家，我认为这些彻底融合了希望和进步的想法。」
此栋图书馆总面积达到17,250平方米，耗资大概1亿欧元（约新台币35亿元）， 预计中央图书馆的访客每年会有两百万人，每天会有1万人，如此豪华的图书馆，有机会一定要去体验一下！
