I’m still trying to figure out how this all unfolded or what got into him that day…push-ups, bicycle kicks, leg-ups (you think Baobao can do sit-ups with with a Little Buddha tummy like his??), and some squats. We like the idea of Baobao choosing his outfit except for the fact he would wear the same outfit everyday (airplane shirt and “Christmas” pants). So sometimes he goes out in his pajamas instead . 宝宝过生日了，给他买了一个蛋糕，他兴奋地手舞足蹈，因为又有吃的可以吃啦！
Growing up, for whatever reason, I never liked any fanfare on my birthday, so I don't have many relevant memories. I only recall two: a family tradition of everyone getting a present when it was anyone's birthday and a party at McDonald's when I was six where Ronald McDonald failed to show up. But as I've gotten older, and this year in particular with a baby in tow, it has become a day of reflection and appreciation for how far along I've come and all the wonderful people that are now in my life. ?? #birthdaythoughts
