来源:希望之声  （记者蕭菡综合报导）现如今六岁的小孩大多都还在自顾自的玩着游戏、看动画片，甚至还会时不时的使使小性子，跟父母撒撒娇，无忧无虑的在父母的精心呵护下成长着。而在美国却有一个叫罗曼的小男孩，虽然才6岁就已经帮助妈妈操作营救狗狗的项目，迄今为止他和妈妈已经拯救了超过1000只流浪狗免于被扑杀，并帮助它们远离收留中心找到新家。

随着在家中饲养狗狗或猫咪的人越来越多，许多可爱的“小家伙”所扮演的角色已经不仅仅是宠物，很多人都视它们为家里的一份子，但也有些宠物因各种情况会遭到弃养,这一问题日趋严重，尤其是家犬在外谋生能力很弱，一但被抓进收容所后，若长久没人领养就会被安乐死。

2015年，罗曼（Roman）与他的妈妈珍?麦康(Jen McConn)在德州收容中心领养了一只流浪狗“露娜”，珍妮弗在收容所观察到这些流浪狗的状况后十分担忧，决定在该收容中心担任志愿者。

2016年，罗曼与母亲再回到华盛顿州后就开始发起一个叫做“自由旅乘”（Project Freedom Ride）的项目，通过拍摄视频将其上传到网上的方式，让狗狗们可以更快找到新主人，在影片中还会介绍到狗狗的年龄、品种和需要被领养的理由等。

罗曼拍摄的呼吁人们领养狗狗的视频非常可爱动人，在脸书上发布之后被广为传播。也有很多媒体给予了报导，希望人们能够帮助狗狗们尽快找到愿意领养它们的主人。

尽管罗曼看起来还是一个不懂事的孩子，但他的善举却萌芽的很早，他的妈妈珍妮弗说：“在罗曼过4岁生日的时候，他选择放弃收取生日礼物，而是四处募款将其捐赠给德克萨斯州的营救狗狗团队。”她还介绍，罗曼从那时候开始，常常为营救狗狗而奔波，并且出主意、找办法。

通过罗曼的视频，有越来越多的家庭愿意收养那些“无家可归”的狗狗。

罗曼和妈妈一样，非常热爱狗狗，喜欢帮助营救狗狗，乐于跟狗狗交朋友。他在影片中也会常常忍不住掉眼泪，他说每一只狗狗都应该要有个家，但他们没办法把所有的狗狗都带回家养。真的很多狗狗都很善良温柔，但是却找不到人来照顾它们，很多年老或受伤的狗狗都很需要一个温暖的家……

Bindi is the sweetest girl! She is shy and timid but loves tour affection. We passed by a man today on or walk and she was quite unsure about him so there’s no telling what she’s been through but we’re sure with some time and love she’d relax and shine. Bindi deserves a viral video and an amazing home! Please help Roman find this adorable Beagle / Lab Mix her forever family. Bindi is available for adoption at the Skagit Valley Humane Society (Washington State)!!!

值得庆幸的是，透过这个计划很多狗狗都找到了自己的归属，而罗曼小小年纪就有一颗温暖善良的心，用智慧和爱心加之行动，让更多的狗狗不必再流浪,拥有一个温暖的家！

She’s BACK ?? To opted to visit The Skagit Valley Humane Society today and by freak chance we learned Rosalinda was back!!! Poor girl!! She’s now a year and a half and again looking for her true forever family. Previous family says she’s timid around men and did take a little bit to warm up to Ro again but once she did it was on like Donkey Kong. Previous home said she was nippy but what we experienced today was she’s mouthy. She nibbles on your hand but definitely nothing that breaks skins at all.
