26岁的盖斯·肯沃西（Gus Kenworthy）是来自科罗拉多州的美国自由式滑雪运动员，2018年作为美国国家队运动员参加了在平昌举行的冬奥会。

Here are a bunch of clips from @dewtour this week. The event didn't really go the way I'd hoped for but I'm happy to have landed a couple of runs and help get @atomic a podium in the team event on the last day. Our Olympic qualifying process is still underway so I've got a few more opportunities to try and secure my spots for Pyeongchang. For now I'm looking forward to spending the holidays with family and then getting back to training to come out swinging for our final few selection events! SO stoked on winning today's Olympic selection event. My parents were there to watch and I couldn't be happier with the run that I put down. 今年他来韩国除了要参加特定的参赛项目外，还有一个特殊的任务，那就是走访韩国境内的狗肉市场，并从那里救出一些狗狗出来。

盖斯与流浪狗之间有一种特殊的缘分，2014年他在俄罗斯参加索契冬奥会期间，在奥运村附近遇见了两只流浪狗，当时他废了很多功夫才将这两只狗带回美国。

看看这两只被他从索契带回来的狗狗，已经被他宠上了天。

因为这两只狗狗，他与朋友便在营救流浪狗的道路上一去不复返了。

在去韩国参加冬奥会之前，他便在网上提前做了调研，在韩国全国范围内，有超过17000个狗场，这些狗场内有超过250万只小狗被关，为全国市场提供食用狗肉。

他在个人Instagram上写道：“吃狗肉作为韩国文化之一，我个人并不能赞同，但是我不能把西方人的思想强加给东方文化。但是我想尽自己的力量解救一些狗狗出来，让它们也有很精彩的生活。”
