RSS/FEED订阅美国军火商建议印度政府制造F-16 成战机出口枢纽

美国国防承包商洛克希德·马丁（Lockheed Martin）（Locked Martin）表示，希望为印度打造客制化F-16战机，并在印度设制造基地，印度可以成为战机出口枢纽，以直接参与未来30年规模将达1650亿美元（约新台币4.95兆元）的战机市场。
根据《印度时报》（Times of India）23日报导，洛克希德·马丁已经向印度政府提出上述建议，更表示印度可望藉此成为全球最大战机供应链中心，创造「印度制造」战机的机会与美名。
洛克希德马丁策略与商业发展部门副总裁拉尔（Vivek Lall）表示，F-16 Block70是目前F-16系列战机最高阶机种，该战机也列在给印度政府的提议中，现在就等候印度政府的决定，是否允许超过20种F-16系列战机自印度出口至全球。

F-16 Block70为最F-16系列高阶机种
拉尔表示，F-16 Block70采用最先进的「主动电子扫描阵列雷达」（Active Electronically Scanned Array，AESA）技术武器、「自动地面避碰系统」（Auto-GCAS）、更高阶引擎，可以进行更长程飞行、服役时间也会更长。
拉尔指出，随着机身结构和航电设备改进，F-16的效能和战斗力将不断增加，数百架F-16在2050年后仍将持续运作。他另表示，「未能够与更多没有合作过的印度供应商合作，本公司已经向目前的F-16供应链厂商积极打听并寻求协助，这些业者与印度供应商都有不错的关系。」
《印度时报》报导指出，目前洛克希德·马丁估计有上百件产品或技术都在国际合作关系下，成功转移到印度，或在当地制造。印度空军4月启动采购114架战机程序，希望和外国厂商合作，在印度生产。
