This music was inspired from a story of a scholar in Ming Dynasty.

After hearing a divine and heavenly beautiful music from a lotus pond by a sacred fairy, he realized the connection between life and the pure sound of music. From the hint given by the fairy, he started his path in music. He cultivated his heart and character so that his music sounds became more and more refined and purer. The fairy told him to wait in the world of music during future reincarnation for the great Dafa (the name of a powerful cultivation practice) for further cultivation.

This music piece is the depiction of that heavenly music from the lotus pond.

有一个故事说相传明朝有一位出生於书香门第、学问好、道德修养高尚的书生，他在进京赶考的路上，居住在一家旅店。因为月色非常美，他出来散步，走到一个荷塘边，欣赏荷花和月色的美景。书生完全沉浸在这美景的时候，缓缓传来一曲清音，同美妙的景致完全吻合在一起。

曲中有仙子漫步、清泉的流淌、荷花的美丽芬芳和香醇的花香。他後来得知，此曲来自一名仙女，并通过此曲让他领悟到了生命的境界和琴音之间的联系。他在仙女点悟下，决定学习琴艺，并在音乐的道路上不断修炼内心，让自己的琴音越来越超凡脱俗。随後，仙女让其在未来转生中在德音雅乐中等待救世的大法。
