26岁的盖斯·肯沃西（Gus Kenworthy）是来自科罗拉多州的美国自由式滑雪运动员，2018年作为美国国家队运动员参加了在平昌举行的冬奥会。
他在雪场上的英姿不知道能得到多少姑娘们的欢呼呢~~在2014年索契冬奥会上，他获得了男子自由式滑雪的银牌。

今年他来韩国除了要参加特定的参赛项目外，还有一个特殊的任务，那就是走访韩国境内的狗肉市场，并从那里救出一些狗狗出来。
盖斯与流浪狗之间有一种特殊的缘分，2014年他在俄罗斯参加索契冬奥会期间，在奥运村附近遇见了两只流浪狗，当时他废了很多功夫才将这两只狗带回美国。
看看这两只被他从索契带回来的狗狗，已经被他宠上了天。
因为这两只狗狗，他与朋友便在营救流浪狗的道路上一去不复返了。
在去韩国参加冬奥会之前，他便在网上提前做了调研，在韩国全国范围内，有超过17000个狗场，这些狗场内有超过250万只小狗被关，为全国市场提供食用狗肉。
他在个人Instagram上写道：“吃狗肉作为韩国文化之一，我个人并不能赞同，但是我不能把西方人的思想强加给东方文化。但是我想尽自己的力量解救一些狗狗出来，让它们也有很精彩的生活。”
