美探险队潜入罕至深海水域,揭秘众多奇特生物,叹为观止

来源:希望之声 (记者张靓综合编译)近日,美国国家海洋和大气管理局(NOAA)“俄刻阿诺斯探险者”号(Okeanos Explorer,美国探索船)完成了一个多月的深海探测任务。他们探索了美国东南部的深水海域,出动高科技潜水器,向人们揭开了数千英尺深的深海中生物的未解之谜。
本次深海探测自5月22日启动,一直持续到7月2日,范围包括从佛罗里达州至北卡罗来纳州的东南部大陆边缘,其中还包括几个人迹罕至鲜有探索的东海岸区域。
探测队使用遥控设备,进行“深海之窗”(Windows to the Deep)潜水任务共17次,他们邂逅了凶猛的蜥狗母鱼、奇形怪状的水螅和有着萌萌大眼的“饺子乌贼”等各种美丽而不同寻常的生物,令人叹为观止。

7月1日是最后一次潜水,研究人员在5810英尺(近1800米)深海与一只凶猛怪异的蜥狗母鱼偶遇。幽灵一般的白脸,大而无神的黑眼,鱼齿细密尖锐。这种令人毛骨悚然的鱼类可长至2英尺(约0.61米)长,擅长伏击。
根据美国《国家地理》杂志,蜥狗母鱼雌雄同体,兼具雌雄器官,因此可与任何一只同类交配。

另一个奇遇是,研究人员发现一种样子很奇怪但很可爱的“饺子乌贼”,它实际上被认为是一种变种乌贼。据NOAA称,这些被称为短尾乌贼的头足钢动物与乌贼没有密切关系。
专家解释说,它们长有鳍,当它们坐着或埋起来的时候,它们的鳍被紧紧包裹在身体周围,所以很难看出来。

探险队还捕捉到了一个令人震惊的时刻,一条“浅水光蟾鱼”(鱼名),对身边一条游过的不知险情的鱼发起了一次闪电般快速的攻击。表面只能看到一阵灰尘,但仔细观察才能发现令人惊叹的攻击行动。
NOAA称,这种鱼像鱼和蜥狗母鱼一样,是坐等埋伏捕食者,并且可以对任何一种鱼发动攻击。“因为速度太快,所以只能借助超慢动作技术来观看真正发生了什么。”
